Grief is the emotion or energetic information that all humans experience and must process as a result of loss. It is not only the death of a loved one that brings the energetic information of grief to our conscious awareness. All loss brings the energetic information of grief into our emotional and physical body.

Grief has many ways of expressing itself through humans as we connect with it physically and mentally. Many feelings, both mental and physical, come to the surface when we encounter the emotion of grief. 

Our human bodies have specific needs as social creatures to be able to process the dense energetic information of grief and the subsequent feelings that arise and because of this, we are designed to grieve together.

Grief can be a teacher and guide on our human journey when held in a sacred and loving container. 

Humanity has moved away from indigenous wisdom and has suffered greatly due to the lack of a collective container of Love held within time and space for the emotion of grief. 

Because we live in an age where information is readily available we as humans not only suffer our own losses and grief but are now keenly aware of the global grief. Some people feel it more deeply than others, all people need a place to grieve. The grief of ongoing wars, genocide, and patriarchal and colonial violence is incredibly heavy, especially in addition to our losses living with oppressive systems. 

During these times of deep grief, The Church of Pleasure invites you to cum set down your heavy and weary heart with others as we honor loss and life. We gather to collectively bear the heaviness of the emotion of grief and remember the light of our power in remembrance of the energy we grieve. 

We gather on Wednesdays twice a month.

5 PM Pacific / 6 PM Mountain / 7 PM Central / 8 PM Eastern
